The 2023 Gullyview Riesling hails from the Gullyview Vineyard in Clare Valley. Chalky and precise aromatically, the wine speaks of pear skins, green apple, jasmine flower and ocean spray. The wine is taut on the palate, and the acidity thrums within the confines of the fruit, which is fine and with a clothy aspect to the texture. The acidity is a little green, but it is worn well by the fruit. All things in balance and harmony here. It's a cool wine. 12.4% alcohol, sealed under Diam.
